What is an Escape Room?

An Escape Room/Live Escape Game is a team building activity for companies, friends & families who are looking for a challenging and different cooperative experience.

In a classic Escape Room, you are locked in a room, and then you have 60 minutes to solve a series of codes and riddles to escape the room. You will only escape the room through teamwork, communication, and logical thinking.

Escape Copenhagen is located just 5 min. from Nørreport Station.

We are located in the very heart of Copenhagen, with plenty of restaurant opportunities right around the corner.

Children of all ages can play, but please remember that our games are designed for adults. Children can typically contribute to the riddle-solving from the age of 12, which means that all children younger than 12 are free of charge.

Escape Rooms at Escape Copenhagen - Escape using communication and creativity

An Escape Room is an exciting and challenging live escape game where you and your group are locked inside a room. In this room, you need to solve riddles and crack the codes by thinking creatively and communicating clearly. To complete the room, you need to finish all the tasks within 60 minutes. At Escape Copenhagen, you will find six different Escape Rooms, and the challenges and consequences can vary depending on the game. However, the commonality in all our games is that you will not escape and succeed at the game if you do not put habitual thinking on the shelf and work together as a team.

Plenty of Escape Rooms at Escape Copenhagen

We have many Escape Rooms at Escape Copenhagen. Each room has its own theme and is designed with specific challenges. Some games are adrenaline-pumping escapes from terrorists, Viking chiefs and psychotic janitors, while others are more mystery-solving and riddle-oriented.

In The Terrorists' Cell, you need to escape from a group of terrorists that have captured you and disarm a ticking bomb before it destroys Copenhagen. In Vikings, you are time travelers who are stranded in the Viking Age. Together, you need to find the crystals you need to be able to return to the present before Erik the Red and his ships return to his castle. Finally, you will need nerves of steel when you enter The Psychotic Janitor, where a shady janitor might lurk in the shadows of an abandoned basement filled with tricky traps.

If you want to try your skills with Virtual Reality, our three Ubisoft VR Escape Games are something for you. In these games, you will be sent on missions in the past, and you will need to work together in virtual reality to solve the riddles you are presented with.

Suppose you prefer games where the focus is more on the mystery-solving aspect than the adrenaline pumping aspect. In that case, we also have games for you. For example, you could try to Enter the Mind or Dr Evil's Plan. In Enter the Mind, you are entering the criminal Stein Bagger's mind to discover where he hid the many millions he stole in the greatest scam in Danish history. In Dr Evil's Plan, you need to stop an enormous fake news server from delivering misinformation to the world.
